No Kid Hungry Campaign

Core Partner

Arby’s works hard to make a difference in the communities we serve by impacting the issue of childhood hunger on national, state and local levels.

Nationally, we partner with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign. As a Core Partner of the No Kid Hungry campaign, we work with them on all levels to take a strategic approach to ending childhood hunger by:

  • Helping raise awareness of childhood hunger in America
  • Funding long-term programs and sustainable solutions that impact the issue of childhood hunger
  • Providing wholesome kids meal options in our restaurants
  • Providing and supporting volunteer opportunities for our employees and partners to make a difference in the communities we serve

We invest in National initiatives such as a Summer Texting Program and the Center for Best Practices, helping No Kid Hungry bring millions of additional meals to kids who need them.

We invest in State collaborative initiatives that increase access to breakfast, and both after-school and summer meals, through the No Kid Hungry State Campaigns and Allies program to enable work in all 50 states.

We invest in Local community organizations and programs fighting hunger through our grant program. Since 2011, we have made 157 grants to 152 organizations in 38 states to increase delivery of healthy meals to kids.

Hometown Heroes grants are administered by Share Our Strength, with funding provided by the Arby’s Foundation. Fundraising

Brown Bag Project

The Brown Bag Project is our National Restaurant Fundraiser. For six weeks, team members in Arby’s restaurants  sell $1 pin-ups to help raise funds and awareness of childhood hunger in America. By encouraging restaurant guests to add a $1 dollar donation to the Arby’s Foundation to their order, the Brown Bag Project makes it easy for guests to join us in our efforts to end childhood hunger.

Corporate Partner Program

The Arby’s Foundation Partner Program is a multi-city, regional series of events that provides Arby’s vendors, suppliers and franchisees an opportunity to support and participate with Arby’s and the Arby’s Foundation in our mission to end childhood hunger in America.

These activities provide your company with an opportunity to build relationships with franchisees, Arby’s Restaurant Group leaders and members of the ARCOP team while helping the Foundation in its mission to end childhood hunger in America.

We invite you and your company to become a part of our Partner Programs, and take advantage of these special opportunities while also making a difference to children in your community!

Hungry for Happiness Tour

Summer should be a time for all kids to have fun – not a time to worry where to get their next meal. That’s why we launched the Hungry for Happiness mobile tour. Stopping in 30 cities across America during the summer, it’s designed to raise awareness around childhood hunger in America and increase enrollment in summer meals programs. Within each city, we visit an existing summer meal site and provide a day of summertime fun to its attendees. Then we make a visit to a local Arby’s restaurant to raise awareness with our customers around the issue of childhood hunger in America and how we’re working to end it. These store visits are also used as fundraising events, with a portion of that restaurant’s sales going to a local hunger-fighting organization.
